EXPERT PAINTING & DECORATING SERVICES FOR MANAWATU HOMES

Interior and exterior painting, new build finishing, and speciality decorative work — handled by a team that treats every surface like it's their own home.

INTERIOR PAINTING

INTERIOR PAINTING THAT LOOKS CONSIDERED, NOT RUSHED.

A good interior paint job comes down to what happens before the roller ever touches the wall. We take the time to properly prepare every surface so the finish goes on clean and stays that way.

WHAT WE DO

Surface preparation, filling, and sanding
Careful masking and protection of floors, fittings, and furniture
Colour consultation and advice
Ceilings, walls, trims, doors, and skirting
A clean, tidy site every day we're on the job

We treat every interior like it's our own home - no shortcuts on prep, no mess left behind, and a finish that holds up to a closer look.

EXTERIOR PAINTING

EXTERIOR PAINTING THAT PROTECTS YOUR HOME, NOT JUST FINISHES IT.

We prepare every surface properly before painting — washing, scraping, filling, and priming — so the finish doesn't just look good on day one, it holds up. We work on all exterior materials and we match the right products and process to your home.

WHAT WE DO

Water blasting and surface preparation
Repairs to timber, plaster, or cladding where needed
Quality, weather-rated paint systems suited to your home
Roof and trim painting
A clear timeline, so you know what to expect and when

Exterior work is exposed to the elements and the neighbours - it needs to be done right the first time. We take the prep seriously because that's what makes a new or repaint last, not just look good in photos.

NEW BUILDS AND RENOVATIONS

PAINTING FINISHED TO A BUILDERS STANDARD

New builds and renovations move fast, and painting has to keep up. We work closely with builders, project managers, and homeowners and deliver a finish that's ready for handover. It's work we've built a strong reputation on — reliable, on time, and to a standard builders are happy to put their name next to.

WHAT WE DO

Interior and exterior painting for new builds
Renovation and repaint work around existing structures
Scheduling that fits around your build timeline
Coordination with builders, architects, or project managers
Preparation and finishing to a standard ready for handover

We understand a new build or renovation involves a lot of moving parts — we're easy to schedule with, communicate clearly, and turn up when we say we will.

SPECIALTY FINISHES

VENETIAN PLASTER AND MICRO CEMENT, DONE BY SPECIALISTS

Venetian plaster and microcement create a depth and texture that standard paint simply can't. Applied by hand in multiple thin layers, these finishes are suited to feature walls, bathrooms, kitchens, and any surface where you want something with real character. It's a slower, more considered process than a standard paint job, and it shows in the result.

WHAT WE DO

Venetian plaster application for feature walls and full rooms
Microcement finishes for floors, walls, and wet areas
Surface preparation specific to decorative finishes
Colour and texture guidance based on your space
A finish applied and finished by hand, layer by layer

This is specialist work, and we treat it that way — it's one of the things that sets a Harris Decorating finish apart from a standard repaint.
